Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Beijing
Welcome to Beijing. Your private guide will meet you at the airport arrival hall and transfer you to your hotel in a comfortable private vehicle.
The rest of the day is free for you to relax after your international flight.
Day 2 – Temple of Heaven & Forbidden City
Visit the Temple of Heaven, where emperors once prayed for good harvests. In the morning, you may see locals practicing tai chi, dancing, and traditional exercises.
Continue to Tian’anmen Square, then explore the magnificent Forbidden City, the largest imperial palace complex in the world.
Your guide will lead you beyond the main halls to discover hidden courtyards and fascinating stories of imperial life.
Day 3 – Great Wall Hiking Experience
Today you will hike the Jinshanling section of the Great Wall, one of the most scenic and photogenic sections.
This route offers a mix of restored and original watchtowers, giving you a unique perspective of the wall’s history while enjoying breathtaking mountain views.
Day 4 – Summer Palace & High-Speed Train to Xi’an
Visit the elegant Summer Palace, a masterpiece of imperial garden design featuring lakes, pavilions, and the famous Long Corridor.
Later, travel to Xi’an by high-speed train, experiencing one of the fastest rail systems in the world.
Day 5 – Terracotta Warriors & Ancient City Wall
Discover the legendary Terracotta Warriors, built more than 2,000 years ago to guard the tomb of China’s first emperor.
Later, visit a local craftsman’s traditional cave dwelling and learn how miniature clay warriors are made.
In the afternoon, explore the Ancient City Wall of Xi’an, where you can walk or cycle along the top.
Day 6 – Xi’an Culture & Flight to Zhangjiajie
Visit the Xi’an History Museum, home to thousands of artifacts from China’s ancient dynasties.
Continue to the Little Wild Goose Pagoda, then explore the vibrant Muslim Quarter, famous for its street food and markets.
In the evening, fly to Zhangjiajie, a region known for its dramatic sandstone pillars.
Day 7 – Zhangjiajie National Forest Park
Explore Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, part of the UNESCO-listed Wulingyuan Scenic Area.
Take the cable car up Tianzi Mountain and admire the breathtaking landscape of towering sandstone peaks.
Continue to Yuanjiajie, the inspiration for the floating mountains in the movie Avatar.
Day 8 – Tianmen Mountain & Glass Bridge

Day 9 – Travel to Guilin

Day 10 – Guilin City Highlights
Visit Reed Flute Cave, a stunning limestone cave illuminated with colorful lights.
