Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Beijing

Welcome to Beijing. Your private guide will greet you at the airport arrival hall and transfer you to your hotel in a comfortable private vehicle.

The rest of the day is free for you to relax after your international flight.


Day 2 – Temple of Heaven & Forbidden City

Begin your day at the Temple of Heaven, where emperors once prayed for good harvests. In the morning, you may see locals practicing tai chi, dancing, and traditional exercises.

Continue to Tian’anmen Square, then enter the magnificent Forbidden City, the largest imperial palace complex in the world. Your guide will lead you beyond the main halls to discover hidden courtyards and fascinating imperial stories.


Day 3 – Great Wall Day & Night Experience

Travel to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall, one of the most scenic and best-preserved sections. Walk along the ancient wall and enjoy panoramic mountain views.

In the afternoon, visit Gubei Water Town near the Simatai Great Wall. As night falls, take the cable car up to Simatai Great Wall, the only section open for night visits, offering a truly unique and unforgettable experience.


Day 4 – Summer Palace & High-Speed Train to Xi’an

Explore the elegant Summer Palace, a masterpiece of imperial garden design with beautiful lakes, bridges, and pavilions.

Later, take a high-speed train to Xi’an, one of China’s oldest capitals and the starting point of the ancient Silk Road.


Day 5 – Terracotta Warriors & Ancient City Wall

Visit the extraordinary Terracotta Warriors Museum, where thousands of life-sized soldiers guard the tomb of China’s first emperor.

In the afternoon, explore the Ancient City Wall of Xi’an, one of the best-preserved city walls in China. You may walk or cycle along the top for panoramic views of the city.


Day 6 – Xi’an Culture & Flight to Guilin

Visit the Xi’an History Museum, which houses a remarkable collection of artifacts from China’s ancient dynasties.

Continue to the peaceful Little Wild Goose Pagoda, then explore the lively Muslim Quarter, famous for its vibrant markets and street food.

Later, fly to Guilin, a city renowned for its dramatic karst landscapes.


Day 7 – Longji Rice Terraces

Travel to the spectacular Longji Terraced Rice Fields, one of the most beautiful agricultural landscapes in China.

Learn about the culture of the Zhuang and Yao ethnic minorities, whose wooden villages have existed for generations among the terraces.

Enjoy stunning views of the layered rice fields stretching across the mountains.


Day 8 – Li River Cruise to Yangshuo

Today you will experience one of China’s most famous landscapes with a Li River cruise.

Sail between dramatic limestone peaks, bamboo groves, and peaceful riverside villages.

Arrive in Yangshuo, a charming countryside town surrounded by karst mountains. Spend the afternoon exploring the local streets or relaxing in the countryside.


Day 9 – Yangshuo Countryside & Flight to Shanghai

Explore the peaceful countryside of Yangshuo, where you may see farmers working in rice paddies and water buffalo grazing in the fields.

Visit local villages and markets to learn about rural life in southern China.

Later, fly to Shanghai, China’s most modern and international city.


Day 10 – Shanghai Highlights

Walk along the historic Bund, Shanghai’s famous waterfront lined with colonial-era architecture.

Your guide will introduce the fascinating history behind these iconic buildings.

Later, visit Shanghai Tower, the tallest building in China, where you can enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the city skyline.


Day 11 – Shanghai Departure
